Nevertheless, as he shows us here, the dish has all the key components of the original: rich, meaty layers, a creamy cheese sauce and delectable pasta sheets. (Here, a tip from Skehan: it’s worth getting fresh lasagna as the dried version of the pasta won’t cook as well.)
