Here at Good Living, we like to mark the end of the working week with a TGIF recipe… A little note of indulgence with which to treat yourself over the weekend, hopefully catching your breath as you cook, bake or mix something that’s a tiny celebration.
This recipe comes with a warning… if you’re already a peanut butter fan, you may find it hard not to polish off the cookie dough. But if you can resist that understandable urge, the results will be oh-so worthy it.
Here, Urban Treats YouTuber Roman Horwarth whips up peanut butter, banana and oatmeal cookies that are pure feel-good. Best of all, the recipe comes together in 10 minutes with the minimum of washing up.
Who said treats had to be complicated? Give this a go and get your weekend off to the tastiest start!
Paphos-based Roman created his culinary YouTube channel Urban Treats during Cyprus’ 2020 lockdowns, when he suddenly found time on his hands, and a chance to cook and bake up a storm. It wasn’t long before he revisited a lifelong dream to become a chef, and his demo recipes on the world’s largest video-sharing platform took off.
