There are three parts of any great travel experience: planning it, taking it, documenting it. And if you’ve never kept a chronicle of your travels beyond sharing your holiday snapshots on social media, then you’ve got to give travel journalling a try.
In fact, travel journalling is one of the most underrated ways of recording your travels.
You can do this two ways: while travelling you can keep a notebook in which you jot down the day’s thoughts, feelings and experiences that unfold. Or, once home, you can turn photos and collectibles – think museum tickets, stickers, train passes, beer coasters, etc. – and get far more creative.
If this piques your interest, this video walks you through the visually rich process of turning your travel experience into an enticing scrapbook of mementoes and memories.
